About the clinic

Inner East Eye Surgeons is a contemporary group ophthalmology clinic, which serves the population of Melbourne and Melbourne’s East, and is located 20 minutes from the city. We opened in September 2022.

Our staff are well trained and experienced, and our facilities are clean and modern.

Inner East Eye Surgeons was formed to help those in need of good private eye care by an ophthalmologist.  Dr Jonathan Kam, Dr Nicholas Cheng, Dr William Tao and Dr Shivesh Varma are all highly-qualified Australian trained Ophthalmologists that have worked together for several years. Our aim is to provide safe and high-quality care for our patients, and we have the belief that our reputation and results speak for themselves.
